Overview

Zion Canyon is a stunning desert canyon in Utah, featured in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Honest Hearts. Blessed with clean water and untouched beauty, it is a sacred refuge for several tribal peoples caught in the path of Caesar's Legion.

History & Background

The canyon was long protected by the legendary survivalist Randall Clark, whose journals chronicle the region's post-war history. In 2281, a New Canaanite expedition led by the burned man Joshua Graham arrives fleeing Legion harassment, and the White Legs tribe attacks to claim the canyon for the Legion. The story revolves around the tribes' choices: fight, flee, or make peace.

Geography & Layout

Towering red cliffs, winding rivers, and hanging valleys define Zion, with sites like the Sorrows' camp, the Dead Horses' territory, and caves once used by Randall Clark. The environment is comparatively lush and teeming with wildlife.

Wasteland Significance

Honest Hearts explores faith, revenge, and the cost of violence through Joshua Graham's redemption arc, and Zion remains one of the most visually celebrated locations in the series.
