Nuka-World

Overview

Nuka-World is a sprawling pre-war amusement park built by the Nuka-Cola Corporation, featured in the Fallout 4 add-on of the same name. By 2287 the park has been carved into raider territory, with three rival gangs ruling its themed zones.

History & Background

The park opened as the ultimate Nuka-Cola advertisement, with areas like the Galactic Zone, Safari Adventure, and Dry Rock Gulch. After the war, raiders led first by Colter and then by the Sole Survivor conquered the park, enslaving traders and merchants. The gangs — the Operators, the Pack, and the Disciples — maintain an uneasy truce under the overboss.

Geography & Layout

The park is a walled compound of themed sections, each with its own attractions and hazards, connected by the central Nuka-Town USA. Beneath it lies the World of Refreshment bottling plant, home to the preserved remains of Nuka-Cola's founder and Sierra Petrovita, the obsessive cola collector.

Wasteland Significance

Nuka-World is the series' biggest raider-centric content, letting players become the overboss and raid the Commonwealth or turn on the gangs, and it satirizes American consumerism at nuclear scale.
